Escaping reality

Being an author means putting on a lot of hats. You read, you write, you edit, you rewrite, you pull out your hair trying to come up with a good blurb. Then you let your editor do their magic, receive your edit, rewrite some more, let someone suffer through all your little comma and spelling mistakes, and then finally after some more rewriting, you are done.

And now what? Find a publisher? Self-publish? I decided on the latter having tried the former a decade ago. So I published, unsure what I was doin and probably doing it all wrong.

But no matter how much I stumbled my way through self-publishing: My books are out there. I'm a writer. And you can be a reader. A reader who reads my books. Either way, I'm proud to have finished my books, proud to have published them.
